Phurba has trekked the Himalayans in Bhutan several times, and treeked and toured Nepal , India ,Myanmar,Mongolia and Laos . He has rafted majority of the white water rivers, and is extremely knowledgeable in Bhutan's old and ancient history, unique culture, traditions, religious practices, and festivals.

Most travel to Bhutan today is done through large tour agencies that have lots of overhead which is then reflected in the cost of the trip. With BHTT, there is very low overhead and in turn, extremely competitive rates.
