Step 1: Determine Your Interests

Bhutan has captured your imagination. Use this website and other information sources to make a list of all the possible ideas, potential highlights, areas of interest and experiences that you would like to include in your visit.

Step 2: Identify Possible Dates for Visit

Based on your ideas about what you would like to experience, check if these are restricted in anyway by the time of year and seasons. This is especially important if some of your key interests are either trekking or festivals. See the festival timetable for timeframes.

Step 3: Email Me Your Ideas, Possible Dates & Budget

Send me an email with your ideas, activities, areas of interest, budget and the range of possible dates for your visit. Based on this information I will begin to design a basic itinerary that matches what you are interested in - with your proposed dates of travel. I will also research and suggest other possible activities that may stir your imagination.

Step 4: Finalize Your Itinerary and Book Trip

I will email back my suggestions and start working with you to find out what the best arrangements are going to be that will fulfill your travel needs. After I have finished working with you on the draft itinerary, and you are happy with that itinerary, email a confirmation back to me and I will provide you with the final costs, dates, flights for the trip, and a secure bank account number for which to deposit the trip payment.

Once this transaction is completed I will book your flights on Druk Air, apply for your tourist visa(s), and based on your itinerary arrange permits, accommodation and food for your stay. I will work with you to book your flights from your original destination to a Druk Air hub, but you will be purchasing those flights separately.

Step 5: Prepare to Leave

I will email you a checklist with items you may find useful, and I’ll be on hand to answer any last minute questions. Feel free to contact me at anytime.
